A video capturing playful banter between Indian and Pakistani roommates in the UK has gone viral.
India may have won the match in Colombo, but it was a shared kitchen in the UK that delivered the internet’s favourite post-game moment.
A viral video of an Indian man teasing his Pakistani roommate after the T20 World Cup clash is serving up comedy gold and a reminder that cricket rivalries don’t always spill over into real life.
Shared on Instagram by Pakistan’s Ali Raza, the clip captures the aftermath of the high-voltage India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup encounter held in Colombo on Sunday. In the clip, Raza, a trainee aircraft engineer, is seen calmly rolling rotis in their shared kitchen when his Indian roommate, Yusuf Sulemani, walks in with theatrical flair to celebrate India’s win.
India edged past Pakistan in a tense, low-scoring thriller that kept fans glued to their screens. Pakistan’s batting faltered under pressure, with key dismissals derailing the chase.
One such moment became the centrepiece of Sulemani’s teasing. Dramatically uttering ‘Sahibzada Farhan’, a playful dig at the Pakistani batter who was dismissed for a duck. Sulemani bursts into laughter.
Raza, visibly exasperated but smiling, turns to the camera and says, “Do you guys see? This is the problem of living with an Indian after Pakistan loses a match to India,” before telling his roommate to go away.

The profiles of at least three of China's leading nuclear, missile and radar experts were scrubbed from the website of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the country's most prestigious academic body. This comes as a series of purges under Premier Xi Jinping's anti-corruption campaign have decimated the upper echelons of China's military and scientific community.

The aircraft had also been used by senior Iranian officials and military figures for both domestic and international travel, and for coordinating with allied countries, the Israeli military said. Meanwhile, Dubai International Airport has resumed flight operations after a temporary suspension of about seven hours caused by a drone strike near a fuel tank facility.
