Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro 5G India price, specifications leaked ahead of rumoured July 21 event

Oppo Reno 8 series is due to launch later this month in India. The company has confirmed the Oppo Reno 8 series India launch without revealing the launch date of its premium Android smartphones. Ahead of the official launch, the Oppo Reno 8 India price and specifications have leaked.
A RootMyGalaxy report has revealed that the Oppo Reno 8 5G price in India will start at Rs 29,990. If the leaked price is true, the Reno 8 5G will compete against the likes of the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, Poco F4 5G, Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, iQOO Neo 6 5G and other smartphones under Rs 30,000. For the price, the Oppo Reno 8 will offer 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The Reno 8 5G is also said to come with 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB storage options. These two models will be priced at Rs 31,990 and Rs 33,990. Oppo will launch the device in Shimmer Black and Shimmer Gold colours. The phone is also said to go on sale starting July 24.
Alongside the Reno 8 5G, Oppo will launch the Reno 8 Pro 5G in India. Tipster Mukul Sharma claims that the phone will be priced between Rs 42,000 and Rs 46,000 in India. For the price, users will get a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max SoC, which is found in the Chinese variant of the Reno 8 Pro Plus 5G.
The Reno 8 Pro 5G will also sport a 6.7-inch Full HD+, 120Hz AMOLED display. It will come with a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the phone will have a 32MP front camera.
Oppo will pack a 4500 mAh battery in the Reno 8 Pro 5G and the Reno 8 5G. Both phones will support 80W fast charging out of the box.
The vanilla Reno 8 will also feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC. The phone will also sport a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 50MP main camera and two 2MP sensors.
