OnePlus Nord 2T camera specifications leaked, expected to launch in May 2022

OnePlus Nord 2T is expected to come with incremental upgrades over the existing Nord 2, which was launched last year in India.
OnePlus Nord 2T is rumoured to launch in May 2022. The company has confirmed any official details regarding the launch of the new Nord series smartphone. OnePlus will be refreshing the Nord series later this month with the launch of the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in India on April 28. The rumour mill claims that the Nord 2T will launch in May 2022.
Ahead of the rumoured launch, the Nord 2T has been spotted on the TDRA certification and the Camera FV5 website. The latter has revealed the camera specs of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. According to the Camera FV5 listing, the Nord 2T will come with a 50MP main camera sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and a 24.6mm focal length. The camera will click pixel-binned images, which will have a 12.6MP resolution. The Nord 2T’s camera will come with support for electronic image stabilisation (EIS).
Other than the 50MP main camera, the device is rumoured to feature an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera.
For selfies, the Nord 2T will feature a 32MP front camera sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. It will capture 8MP pixel-binned images.
Other details of the Nord 2T have leaked in the past. According to the rumour mill, the Nord 2T will sport a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The screen will support a 90Hz refresh rate and come with a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner.
Under the hood, there will be a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, which will be a slightly improved version of the Dimensity 1200 SoC found on the Nord 2. The phone will pack a 4500 mAh battery and support 80W fast charging as well. Lastly, it will run Oxygen OS 12 out of the box based on Android 12.
The Nord 2T is yet to get an official launch date. The Nord 2 was launched last year in June. However, the rumour mill claims that the Nord 2T will launch a month earlier than the usual refresh cycle. We can expect a formal announcement of the Nord 2T launch in India days after the company unveils the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G and the OnePlus 10R on April 28.
