OnePlus 10 Pro gets big discount at Amazon Great Indian Festival sale, but should you consider?

OnePlus' flagship OnePlus 10 Pro is getting a massive discount at the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale. The phone is currently retailing for Rs 61,999, down from Rs 66,999. However, customers can lower the price even further by availing bank and exchange offers. The Amazon page notes that this offer will end in nine days.
Customers planning to purchase the new OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone can even get Rs 5,000 off with an SBI credit card. That means the phone would effectively be available for Rs 56,999. Amazon's exchange offer goes up to Rs 22,000, though this value will never be available on Android phones. Even if users get Rs 4,000 off, the OnePlus 10 Pro could still be available for around Rs 52,000.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is OnePlus' most premium smartphone of this year, and the phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It is also the only flagship OnePlus phone of this year to support wireless charging. The 10 Pro's triple rear camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary shooter, a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens.
During our review, we found that the OnePlus 10 Pro has a capable camera system in partnership with Hasselblad. Its charging time is also good, with the battery going from 0 to 50 per cent in some 15 minutes. Otherwise, the phone looks good, but the design is not the most inspiring one. It will also resonate with users who want a clean Android phone.
If we look at the competition, the phone at Rs 55,000 isn't a bad deal, given that many Android flagships are priced around the same range. At least, the good thing here is that the OnePlusa offers a clean Android OS that most rivals don't. But if you don't care about clean Android so much, go for Xiaomi 12 Pro or Galaxy S22, since both are available with a discount.
