Om Raut wants to reach generation consuming 'Spider-Man, Iron Man' through Adipurush

Om Raut intends to reach the generation consuming Marvel and DC movies through his movie Adipurush. The film will release on January 12, 2023.

Om Raut is ready to entertain the audience with his next film, Adipurush. The star-studded cast of Adipurush includes Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh and Kriti Sanon. The teaser of the film was launched at Ayodhya on October 2. And recently an event for the 3D teaser was held, where Om Raut interacted with the media. During the conversation, the director was asked about the possibility of his film being overshadowed by the likes of MCU and DC.

During the interaction, Om Raut said he wants to reach the generation consuming 'Spider-Man, Iron Man, through Adipurush.

"What does today's generation want? The generation that is consuming Marvel, the one that's consuming Spider-Man, Iron Man, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings and what not. With the help of Adipurush, I want to get through to the current generation. The main objective of this film is to let the younger generation experience Ramayana in a way that they would understand and find entertaining. Because unless we talk to them in their language, they won't consume the content which is not what our objective is," he said.

Further, the filmmaker revealed that no foreign studio is involved in the making of Adipurush. "There is no foreign studio that has taken part in the making of this film. All the studios, big and small, are all from India and have worked together to make Adipurush possible," he added.

Adipurush will hit the big screen on January 12, 2023.
