The government of Odisha has decided to cancel the Class 12 Board Exams 2021 in the state, a few days after the decision of the cancellation of CBSE Class 12 board exams was announced, in view of the current Covid-19 situation in the state. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Friday, ordered the cancellation of the CHSE Class 12 board exams 2021 in the state, after students and parents had opposed the conduction of the exams in view of the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. Though the Class 12 exams in Odisha stand cancelled for this academic year, the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha (CHSE) has not yet announced any evaluation pattern on the basis of which Class 12 students will be promoted.
