Nissan India today announced that it will increase the prices of all Nissan and Datsun vehicles from April 1, 2021. The price hike is on the account of a "continuous escalation in auto component prices". The product portfolio of Nissan currently includes the Magnite and the Kicks. Datsun sells models like the Redi-Go, Go and Go+. "There has been a continuous escalation in auto component prices and we have tried to absorb this escalation over the last few months. We are now constrained to increase our prices across all Nissan and Datsun models," Nissan Motor India Managing Director Rakesh Srivastava said.
