Nipun Marya is new CEO for iQOO India, aims to double market share by 2022

Following his five-year stint with Vivo India, Nipun Marya has now been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer at iQOO India with a vision to increase the brand's foothold in the country's market through new and innovative products under its moniker.

iQOO has announced the appointment of Nipun Marya as the new Chief Executive Officer for iQOO India. Going forward, Nipun will be responsible for driving the growth of the iQOO brand and its operations in India. The focus of this planned growth will be an increased share in the country's smartphone market.

Prior to his new role, Nipun served as Director, Brand Strategy for Vivo India for a total of 5 years. In the words of Jerome Chen, CEO, Vivo India, Nipun successfully led "vivo’ s expansion and brand evolution in the Indian market." Nipun was hailed for his "deep understanding and consistent focus on consumer understanding" with Vivo, during his time with the company.
