NIOS extends registration deadline for 2023 exams

The NIOS registration deadline for the 2023 exams has now been extended to July 31. Here's how to apply.

The NIOS registration period for the Class 10, Class 12, and public exams in April 2023 has been extended by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) for the academic year 20222023. Candidates can submit their applications for free at nios.ac.in until July 31. The public exams for these classes will take place in April 2023.

“National Institute of Open Schooling is an autonomous organisation under the EduMinOfIndia, offers Academic, Vocational and OBE courses through ODL mode. The online registration in Secondary & Sr Secondary courses are open now,” NIOS tweeted from its official Twitter handle.

Step 1: Visit the official website sdmis.nios.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the application submission link for Class 10 or Class 12.

Step 3: Enter the required credentials and upload the necessary documents

Step 4: Submit the admission form and take a printout for future reference

The Union Human Resource Development Ministry established NIOS as an independent school in 1989 under the old name of the National Open School. Class 12 exams are administered by the NIOS twice a year in Block-1 and Block-2 sessions, often in the months of April/May and October/November, respectively.
