Redmi device with model number 2201116SC has been spotted on the TENNA listing. The device is tipped to feature a 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 690 chipset and a 5000mAh battery.

A new Redmi device has been spotted on the TENNA listing on model number 2201116SC. The same device was earlier listed on China's 3C certification website. These listings hint towards an imminent launch. While the device has only been seen on Chinese certification websites, its India and Global variants are also reported to be in the works. The marketing name of 2201116SC is not out yet, but it’s possible that the phone belongs to the Redmi Note 11 series. Sadly the TENNA listing does not reveal the design and the complete specifications. Redmi is yet to reveal any details around the same, so we suggest you to take this information with a pinch of salt.

An FCC listing of the same device with model number 2201116SR has also popped up. As per which the phone runs MIUI 13 and has NFC connectivity. Along with that, the 3C certification hints towards the inclusion of 67 charging.

Tipster WHYLAB in his Weibo post, says that the smartphone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 690 chipset. It is an octa-core chipset clocked at 2GHz and coupled with an Adreno 619L chipset. The phone will be equipped with a 120Hz high refresh rate display and a 5000mAh battery. It will also be 5G compatible, the tipster states.

A different leak says that the smartphone may feature a 108-megapixel or a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultrawide sensor, a 2MP OmniVision OV02A macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. We don’t have information about the front camera, but there may be a 16-megapixel lens for the same.

Redmi is gearing up for the launch of the Redmi Note 11 series on January 26. And it is being assumed that 2201116SC will launch as Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G at the same event. The same device may launch as Poco X4/Poco X4 NFC in some regions.
