NCW writes I&B ministry to censor trailer, sexually explicit scenes of upcoming Marathi movie

The NCW wrote to the I&B ministry after a complaint from Bharatiya Stree Shakti, which alleged that the trailer of the upcoming Marathi film “Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha" shows obscene content depicting women and minors in objectionable ways.
The National Commission for Women (NCW) on Wednesday wrote to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting seeking immediate intervention in censoring the trailer and sexually explicit scenes in an upcoming Marathi film, “Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha."
As per a statement issued by the commission, it had received a complaint from Bharatiya Stree Shakti, which alleged that the trailer of the film which was released on January 10, 2022, shows obscene content depicting women and minors in objectionable ways.
