Nagarkurnool MP Mallu Ravi praises Rahul Gandhi's leadership, urges for guidance to enhance governance in Telangana and Congress.
Nagarkurnool MP and senior Congress leader Mallu Ravi met the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on Monday commending his exemplary leadership in Parliament and praising his principled stance on issues like the Adani controversy and the Waqf Board Bill.
Mr. Ravi highlighted Mr. Gandhi’s role in inspiring the masses through initiatives like the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ and urged him to strengthen the Congress’s organisational structure. He also outlined key achievements of the Congress-led Telangana government under A. Revanth Reddy, including the implementation of five major guarantees, loan waivers for 20 lakh farmers, and job creation in one-year. Telangana’s pioneering caste census was also lauded as a historic step. Mr. Ravi emphasised the need for Mr. Gandhi’s continued guidance to enhance governance in Telangana and strengthen Congress nationwide.

For the last few weeks, several wards in Madurai city have been getting piped drinking water through a new drinking water scheme. The sweetness of the generously supplied water has led to loss of business to several suppliers of canned drinking water in the city. But, not many know that the water supplied to the houses in Madurai is directly drawn from Lower Dam of Mullaperiyar Dam in Idukki district of Kerala.
