Nagarjuna's Brahmastra character to get a spin-off film? Actor has THIS to say

Nagarjuna would love to star in a Brahmastra spin-off about his character. He, however, doesn't know if it will materialise.

Nagarjuna recently returned to Bollywood with a key role in Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmastra, which hit the screens on September 9. . The actor received praise for his work and the film opened to a thunderous response at the box office. A section of the audience demanded a spin-off movie based on King's character. During a recent interview, the veteran actor said that he would love to be part of such a project. He, however, does not know whether it will materialise. Brahmastra is an action-adventure drama, written and directed by Ayan Mukerji.

Brahmastra opened to an overwhelming response at the worldwide box office on September 9 and collected Rs 75 crore on its first day. Following this, fans demanded a spin-off dealing with the origins of Nagarjuna's character. They further praised the star for making the most of his limited screen time. Nagarjuna has now commented on the future of the Brahmastra franchise.

"We haven’t discussed, I’ll be honest. We never discussed anything about that. I guess Ayan must be still writing he has to do (part) two right. Where does he have time to do spin-offs now? (But) It will be nice, why not, if it works," he told Pinkvilla.

Brahmastra is an action-adventure drama that revolves around Shiva, played by Ranbir Kapoor, who has a unique bond with fire. The biggie features Alia Bhatt as the leading lady and marks her first collaboration with the Bollywood sensation. Brahmastra has an ensemble cast that includes Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy among others. Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo as a scientist in the flick. Brahmastra marks the beginning of a trilogy. The franchise's second instalment is titled Brahmastra 2 Dev.
