Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has said the vivid colours of the Hindu festival of Holi signify unity in diversity and togetherness.
He was speaking after participating in Holi celebrations at his camp office in Karimnagar on Friday (March 14).
Mr. Sanjay said the festival of colours is the celebration of the spirit of cohesion and bonhomie. The myriad colours symbolize the joyous celebration of Holi festival reinforcing community bonding, he remarked.
Later, he participated in Holi celebrations at the busy Tower Circle in the town.
Holi was celebrated with gusto elsewhere in the former composite Karimnagar district.
