A Mumbai woman shared a video of her 6'5 Lithuanian boyfriend's first Indian Railways sleeper class train journey in India, which left social media users amused.
A Mumbai woman’s documented and shared a video of her Lithuanian boyfriend's experience in an Indian Railways sleep class train, complete with cramped berths, moving coaches, and a generous dose of Indian sweets.
The video was posted on Instagram by Shanti Mudaliyar, who summed up the experience in her caption: “He fits emotionally. Physically? Debatable. Should I make him try more Indian train classes?”
Her clip opens with visuals of a moving train, accompanied by on-screen text that reads, “Testing if my 6'5 Lithuanian boyfriend can survive Indian Railways.”
Shanti then pans the camera towards her boyfriend and asks him how he’s feeling. Smiling unfazed, he responds, “Very good,” flashing a cheerful thumbs-up — a moment that many viewers found unexpectedly wholesome.
As the journey continues, the couple is seen sharing a small portion of gajar ka halwa, with another display text popping up: “Feed him Indian sweets so he forgets about the chaos.”
However, the real test arrives when the camera turns to the sleeper berth. Shanti films her boyfriend attempting to adjust his 6'5" frame into the narrow sleeping space. As he tries to sit upright, his head hits the roof of the train, and when he finally lies down, his legs visibly struggle to fit within the length of the seat.

The profiles of at least three of China's leading nuclear, missile and radar experts were scrubbed from the website of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the country's most prestigious academic body. This comes as a series of purges under Premier Xi Jinping's anti-corruption campaign have decimated the upper echelons of China's military and scientific community.

The aircraft had also been used by senior Iranian officials and military figures for both domestic and international travel, and for coordinating with allied countries, the Israeli military said. Meanwhile, Dubai International Airport has resumed flight operations after a temporary suspension of about seven hours caused by a drone strike near a fuel tank facility.

When we look at Iran through the prism of religion and see a Shia Islamic country, we negate its thousands of years of rich pre-Islamic Persian culture. A dive into the world of Zoroastrianism and Vedas shows us how Indians and Iranians have been sharing languages, Gods, sciences and a sacred fire for thousands of years.
