Mumbai: Woman arrested for selling fake medicine to cancer patients

The woman was arrested by the Economic Offence Wing of the Mumbai Police for selling fake medicine to cancer patients.
A 31-year-old woman has been arrested by the EOW (Economic Offence Wing) of the Mumbai Police for selling fake medicines to cancer patients. The medicines are Adcetris injection and Iclusig tablet produced only by Takeda Pharmaceutical LTD based in Osaka Japan.
The woman named Pooja Rana along with another accused made fake medicines and supplied them to cancer patients.
