A man has been arrested for allegedly clicking nude pictures and videos of his employer’s 13-yr-old daughter and 11-yr-old niece in south Mumbai.
According to the police, the accused had been working as a domestic help at a gift shop owner's house in south Mumbai for over eight years. In his employer's absence, he allegedly used to capture the minors' photos and videos while they were changing their clothes, reported the Indian Express.
The incident came to light on Tuesday when the gift shop owner’s daughter was playing a video game on the accused's mobile phone. "While playing, she came across her naked pictures that their domestic help had clicked while she was changing her clothes," a police official was quoted as saying by the English daily.
Moreover, the minor also saw her 11-year-old cousin's photos on the accused's phone. The minor’s cousin used to visit their house frequently. She informed about it to her mother, who reported the matter to the police.
Based on the complaint filed by the victim's mother, a case of registered under IPC section 354 (C) (voyeurism) and under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
