The decision was taken due to the rising Covid-19 cases in the state which are affecting both students and teachers and causing a lot of anxiety and stress. The ‘online synchronous learning’ programme had been in place in Madhya Pradesh from July 2020. Under this, the state schools had been conducting online classes since last year. But the Madhya Pradesh School Education Department had now suspended these online classes and only students of classes 10 and 12 appearing on board exams would be attending the same.
