A heartwarming video of a mother elephant and her baby has gone viral on social media. The video is from Gudalur, Nilgiris and features the mother tusker protecting its newborn from heavy rain. The video appears to have been captured in the midst of a tea garden in Tamil Nadu. It was shared by IAS officer Supriya Sahu. The video has over 17,000 views.
In the now-viral video, the mother elephant can be seen protecting its calf from the heavy rain just like an umbrella. Just like any other human being, the elephant’s motherly instincts are pretty much evident in this video.
