Due to heavy rainfall, flood water has entered the residential areas located near the banks of the River Ganga in Patna. The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall to continue over West Bengal and the Northeast region for today.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has isolated heavy rainfall over Uttarakhand between 14 and 15 August. The weather bulletin has suggested that fairly widespread rainfall is also expected in Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh.
