Micromax IN Note 2 launches today: Expected price, full specifications, and everything else you should know

Micromax IN Note 2 will arrive in India at an online event today but its key specifications are already out. Its price has also been leaked.

Micromax IN Note 2 smartphone is set for launch in India today. The brand-new phone will arrive as the successor to the IN Note 1 that the Indian smartphone brand unveiled back in 2020. As a successor, the IN Note 2 will bring many upgrades. Micromax has already revealed one too many things about the upcoming phone. We know what the phone looks like and what it will come packing inside. So, the main focus of today’s event will be the price of the IN Note 2.

The IN Note 2, Micromax has already revealed, will come with a design that is very identical to that of the Samsung Galaxy S-series phones. There is a separate bump for the camera that begins from the top and ends on the edge. Inside this bump are four cameras, which look good to me. The rest of the design of the IN Note 2 includes a shiny texture that is super reflective, while the display of the phone has a punch-hole in the middle.

While we will find out the official price of the Micromax IN Note 2 at the event today, some reports have suggested the phone will cost between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000. The IN Note 1, for instance, was launched for Rs 10,999 for the base model. Micromax IN Note 2 will come in Black and Brown colours, per a report.

A Flipkart teaser of the IN Note 2 has already revealed key things about it. The IN Note 2 will come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, a MediaTek Helio G95 processor, 30W fast charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the IN Note 2. Micromax’s teasers already give a fair idea of what the IN Note 2 will be like, but a leak paints a fuller picture of the upcoming smartphone.

A report from MySmartPrice has shared nearly all the specifications. So, the 6.43-inch AMOLED display will have a Full-HD+ resolution with a punch-hole in the middle. It will sadly settle for the 60Hz refresh rate. Then the Helio G95 processor will use 6GB or 8GB of RAM, while the storage options will be 64GB and 128GB. The phone may run Android 11 software, possibly with the near-stock skin. The report also reveals the IN Note 2 will have a 48-megapixel main camera on the back, along with a 5-megapixel second sensor and two 2-megapixel auxiliary sensors, but their purpose is not clear right now.

For selfies, the IN Note 2 is likely to have a 16-megapixel camera inside the punch-hole. The IN Note 2 may come with a 5000mAh battery, according to the report. We already know that it will support the 30W fast charging through the bundled charger, which, according to the company, will charge 50 per cent in 25 minutes.
