In a great master-stroke for India, four participants from the country secured gold medals at the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) 2021 and one won a silver medal. The gold medallists are Chahel Singh from Pune, Anilesh Bansal from Faridabad, Arhaan Ahmad from Meerut, and Suren from Hisar, while Dhruv Ahlawat from Mumbai won Silver.
