Meera Chopra channelled her inner princess and walked the Cannes red carpet in a light-pink gown on Friday.

Indian divas are absolutely slaying the red carpet game at the Cannes Film Festival this year and actress Meera Chopra is also one of them.

Meera, who has worked in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films, made a dreamy debut on the coveted Cannes red carpet in a beauteous pink gown on Friday. She looked oh-so-gorgeous in a strapless pink gown featuring a thigh-high slit.

She was all smiles as she posed for the photographers.

What Meera wore was a voluminous gown in light pink colour. The strapless creation featured a plunging neckline and was adorned with sparkling embellishments. The sheer ruffle details and a thigh slit added to the oomph quotient of her red carpet look.

The actress styled her ensemble with a dainty yet dazzling diamond necklace and a pair of matching earrings. She complemented her gown with makeup in pink tones. She flaunted a natural-looking base that was enhanced with a bit of blush, pink lipstick and strong brows. As for her hair, she tied it in a sleek ponytail. And finally, a pair of silver heels is what she chose to complete her look with.

In an official statement, Meera Chopra expressed her excitement over making her debut at the prestigious film festival. "I am really excited to make my Cannes debut this year. It’s too overwhelming, since I will be representing my film Safed and also walk the prestigious red carpet. So, it’s a double whammy for me and also a big responsibility,” she said.
