Our celebs are all about “selective activism.” They want their freedom and apace to be respected by masses on SM but preach the opposite with their characters just because they get paid for it. Let's not forget that actors around the world take on all kinds of roles during their career. It doesn't mean they believe in those characters, we praise Hollywood, Bollywood actors for their diversity yet judge our own. @TheMahiraKhan recently chose a very powerful role of Nigar Stuck in playing naive girl in early 20’s. This is what she chooses, there must be other scripts. She can produce dramas herself but no I think it’s a bit unfair to judge MK for her roles choices coz many stars so screwed up characters yet they are not judged because they are philanthropists and use their stardom to support well deserved causes - MK does the same thing as well then why should she be judged -
