Intercollegiate meet
Department of Commerce, Lady Doak College, Madurai, organised an intercollegiate meet EMPHORIA–2026, with 266 participants from 13 colleges across Tamil Nadu.
During the event, chief guest, Poornima Venkatesh, Correspondent, Sitalakshmi Girls Higher Secondary School and Executive Director, DOTCOM INFOWAY, inspired students to dream big, remain resilient, and pursue their goals with patience, positive perception, and persistence.
SV Suraj Sundara Shankar, Proprietor, SVS Foods (P) Ltd., emphasised the importance of continuous upskilling to meet evolving industry expectations.
Various competitions were conducted. Bishop Heber College, Tiruchi, won the overall championship, while Mannar Thirumalai Naicker College, Madurai, emerged as the runners-up.
