Maaro Mujhe Maaro guy Momin Saqib met Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya after India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2022 opener in Dubai. He shared videos from their meeting on Instagram.
Remember Momin Saqib, who went crazy viral for his epic rant after Pakistan lost a match against India in 2019? Well, he attended India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2022 opener in Dubai on August 28. While he was disappointed that the team he was supporting (Pakistan) lost, he made it a point to meet the eminent cricketers from both teams after the match. Momin met Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya after the nail-biting match and congratulated them for the win. Pakistan’s initial loss did not mar Momin’s spirit and he was hopeful that India and Pakistan would play the Asia Cup 2022 finals against each other.
The Indian side put up a swashbuckling show against Pakistan in their opening match. Ravindra Jadeja's superb innings and Hardik Pandya's all-round heroics helped India claim victory. Pandya hit a 17-ball unbeaten 33 and picked up 3 wickets in India’s thrilling win over Pakistan while Virat Kohli put up a 35 off 34 balls during last night’s match. India defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets and it was a moment of sheer joy and pride for all Indians.
Momin met both Pandya and Kohli after the match and shared the videos from their meeting on Instagram.
“A great sportsman and a humble personality. Good to see you back in form. What a game tonight! See you in the finals InshAllah Shall see you in the final!” Momin wrote sharing a video with Kohli.
