
Kundrakudi Thiruvannamalai Adheenam Trust donates ₹5 lakh towards flood relief

Kundrakudi Ponnambala Adigalar donated ₹5 lakh to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund to aid Cyclone Michaung relief operations.
Kundrakudi Ponnambala Adigalar on Monday met Chief Minister M.K. Stalin at his camp office and handed over a cheque for ₹5 lakh on behalf of Kundrakudi Thiruvannamalai Adheenam Trust. The amount will go to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund and will be for the relief and rescue operations being conducted in areas affected by Cyclone Michaung. Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments P.K. Sekarbabu was present.

The sweetness of the generously supplied water has led to loss of business to several suppliers of canned drinking water in the city. But, not many know that the water supplied to the houses in Madurai is directly drawn from Lower Dam of Mullaperiyar Dam in Idukki district of Kerala.
