A lawsuit has been filed against Kim Kardashian by her former staff members over violation of labour laws. The American reality TV star has denied the allegations.
Kim Kardashian has been hit by a lawsuit filed by seven former members of her staff who worked at her Hidden Hills residence. They allege that the reality star violated California labour laws. Kim has denied the allegations in a statement. The plaintiffs include gardeners and maintenance staff who worked on the property, namely Andrew Ramirez, his brother Christopher Ramirez and son Andrew Ramirez Jr, Aron Cabrea; Rene Ernesto Flores, Jesse Fernandez and Robert Araiza. They have claimed that Kim Kardashian withheld taxes from their wages without furnishing the sum to the government. The ex-staff members also allege that Kim Kardashian did not pay for overtime, allow meals or rest breaks. They even claimed that she had a 16-year-old staff member surpass the 48 weekly working hours allowed at the age. One plaintiff claimed when he raised some of these issues, the reality star fired him.
