Ketki Dave resumes work 2 days after husband Rasik's death

Ketki Dave's husband Rasik passed away on July 28. The actress resumed work 2 days after his demise.

Television actress Ketki Dave recently suffered a personal loss after her husband Rasik Dave passed away. Rasik, 65, had been suffering from a kidney ailment for nearly 2 years. The actress' husband, Rasik Dave, breathed his last on July 28. Two days after her husband passed away, Ketki resumed work. For those unaware, when Rasik was alive, he had told Ketki to keep working. Coming back to Ketki, the actress performed on stage on July 30.

In an interview with the Times Of India, Ketki revealed that she doesn't want people to be a part of her grief. People should be included in one's happiness. Yesterday, the play was in Surat. I went there too," said Ketki. On being asked how she is able to manage things after suffering a personal loss, the actress added, "I get into the character instantly and Ketki Dave's personal life does not come into the character."

Ketki went on to reveal that she has reported to work even when she was unwell. "A project does not involve only me. It involves the entire team. The shows are booked in advance and I don't want anyone to suffer because of me."

Actor and producer JD Majethia confirmed Rasik Dave's demise on Twitter. Mourning his loss, JD had penned, "Heartbroken and deeply saddened to hear about the untimely demise of Rasik Dave. Gone too soon brother. May God give your family the strength to get through his difficult time. Om Shanti (sic)."
