
Kerala woman blocks scooter rider from using footpath by placing foot in front

In the now-viral video, the woman is seen walking along the footpath when the man attempts to ride through the pedestrian space to escape a traffic jam on the busy road.
An elderly woman in Kerala’s Kozhikode stopped a man riding a scooter from using a footpath to bypass traffic, and refused to step aside until he returned to the main road.
The incident, recorded in a video near a traffic signal in Eranjipalam, was shared by Instagram blogger Aflah E with the caption, “When ammachi says enough is enough!”
In the video, the woman is seen walking along the footpath when the man attempts to ride through the pedestrian space to escape a traffic jam on the busy road. In order to block his path, the woman firmly places her foot in front of the vehicle.
She tells the rider that the footpath is meant for pedestrians and refuses to let him pass.
When the scooter rider initially refuses to move, the woman takes out her phone and begins recording the incident. Ultimately, the scooter rider turns back and moves onto the road.
