A John Kumar (BJP) has been appointed as Parliamentary Secretary to the Puducherry Chief Minister with immediate effect, Chief Secretary Ashwani Kumar said in an order issued on Friday. Mr Kumar switched sides to the BJP from Congress before the Assembly elections and retained the Kamaraj Nagar constituency.
