John Abraham begins shooting for Tehran, film to clash with SRK's Pathaan in theatres

The first look of John Abraham's upcoming film, Tehran, is out. The film will release on the same date as Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan.

John Abraham, who will soon be seen in Ek Villain Returns, has started shooting for Tehran. The actor took to social media to announce the commencement of Tehran's shoot and also shared the first look of the film. The film is scheduled to release on Republic Day in 2023. As a result, it will clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, which is also hitting cinemas on January 25, 2023.

Interestingly, Pathaan also stars John Abraham in a pivotal role. Sharing the first look of Tehran, John Abraham wrote, "Lights Camera Time for some ACTION! #Tehran shoot begins. Directed by #ArunGopalan and produced by #DineshVijan, #SandeepLeyzell, @ShobhnaYadava . Written by @writish and @ashishpverma . @MaddockFilms @bakemycakefilms (sic)."

Apart from Pathaan and Tehran, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukones Fighter is also slated to release on Republic Day, 2023. Tehran is directed by Arun Gopalan and written by Ritesh Shah and Ashish Prakash Verma.

Pathaan will hit big screens on January 25, 2023. Besides Shah Rukh Khan, the film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The multi-starrer film is directed by Siddharth Anand. The film is said to be a high-octane action film. Salman Khan will make a cameo appearance in the film.
