Guests from across India and abroad began arriving from Thursday at the iconic Umaid Bhawan Palace, turning the city into a hub of glittering festivities.
Among the arrivals were industrialists Gautam Adani, Sunil Mittal, and the Ambani family (Mukesh, Nita, and Anant Ambani), traveling by chartered planes.
US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and US Ambassador to India, Georgia Gour, are also in attendance. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi reached Jodhpur to join the celebrations. Security across the venues has been tightened ahead of the events.
Private celebrations began on February 25 with a Holi festival at Bal Samand Palace. On February 27, Mehrangarh Fort hosted a music night, with a ladies' sangeet scheduled for later. The main wedding ceremony will take place at Umaid Bhawan Palace on February 28, where Ayesha and Jack will exchange vows following Hindu traditions, including the seven sacred pheras.
Jack Hughes plays as a center for the New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League. He represented the United States at the 2026 Winter Olympics, scoring the winning goal against Canada in the gold medal match. Hockey runs in his family, making the sport a shared passion across generations.
Nikesh Arora, CEO and Chairman of Palo Alto Networks, has established himself as a heavyweight in the tech sector, with a net worth of $1.3 billion, according to Forbes. He previously held top positions at Google and SoftBank Group.
