
Jamia Millia Islamia students selected for Ministry of Tourism Study Tour

Jamia Millia Islamia students have been selected for a Study Tour organised by the Ministry of Tourism.
Two students of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, namely Mohd. Wasil Asrar (Ph.D. in Tourism and Hospitality) and Devesh Thakur (Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management) have been selected amongst 50 students from across India to participate in a Study Tour to Kohima, Nagaland.
The selection was based on the criteria decided by the Ministry of Tourism and the Association of Indian Universities on the basis of past participation in co-curricular activities and events. The event will be held along with International Tourism Mart and Nagaland's Hornbill Festival 2021 on 27th - 29th November 2021.
