Is loudspeaker even an issue, asks Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut claimed that the loudspeakers were not even an issue, adding that the controversy over it was distracting attention from important issues.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has claimed that frivolous issues were being given importance while the importance issues which concern the common man were not being allowed discussion. He questioned if loudspeaker is even an issue.

“Hanuman Jayanti has been a part of our culture for so long and here everyone celebrates it together. But this time round, a different kind of environment has been created. Is loudspeaker even an issue when 70 per cent of these aren’t even operational? The issue has been given to such people (workers of ‘dead party’) to raise it,” Sanjay Raut said.

The Shiv Sena leader said that the price rise was an issue concerning the common man, but such issues weren’t discussed and issues which would lead the nation in the path of destruction and bloodshed were being raised.

Speaking to India Today TV, Sanjay Raut said, “Shiv Sena isn’t so hungry for power like others that it will do anything to grab power. The environment that is being created and issues be given prominence is for all to see and isn’t correct.”

Meanwhile, Sanjay Raut, who is all set to visit Nagpur, said that Shiv Sena was eying the entire state from the political point of view.

“There is nothing new in this. Vidharbha is a Hindutva stronghold and Sena will see how to make its deep inroads there. Aaditya Thackeray too will be visiting in some days,” he said.
