Intel 5G Solution 5000 is Intel's first 5G solution with worldwide carrier certification.
Intel announced a slew of updates, including several new products, at the keynote of its Computex 2021. An interesting one among these is the upcoming 5G module for PCs named Intel 5G Solution 5000. As per the American chip manufacturer, the Intel 5G Solution 5000 is the result of the previously announced collaboration with MediaTek and Fibocom. While the former helps with product definition, development, certification and support, Fibocom will help supply such 5G solutions to Intel. Through Intel 5G Solution 5000, the company aims to offer 5G connectivity paired with Intel Wi-Fi 6/6E (Gig+) for an enhanced connectivity experience across network types. Intel says that it is its first 5G solution with worldwide carrier certification. It promises about five times faster speeds over Intel Gigabit Long-Term Evolution (LTE) from anywhere, on the Intel 5G Solution 5000.More Related News
