
IIT Gandhinagar to organise Camp Inspire to inspire schools students for alternative career choices

IIT Gandhinagar’s Curiosity Lab will organise Camp Inspire for school children to motivate students for alternative passions and career choices.
The Curiosity Lab at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar will be organising an online camp for school students from Classes 8 to 12 in addition to teachers, parents, and scholars of education to inspire exploration and generate curiosity. The objective of these sessions is to introduce students to the stories of people who have undertaken new, exciting professions and succeeded, so that students are able to learn that inspiration can be derived from anywhere, including a book, a person or a movement.
Curiosity Lab performs scientific study to explore ways to increase students' curiosity while learning.
Whereas, Curiosity Camps are a Curiosity Lab outreach program designed to spark curiosity and make learning enjoyable.
The camp will end with a filmmaking workshop and competition.
A workshop by Keerthi Raj BS titled ‘Stories through visuals: The art of filmmaking’, will also be held which will go over storytelling fundamentals and how to use available resources to tell engaging audio-visual stories.
Participants will submit their films to Camp Inspire 2022 after the programme for a chance to compete for a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.
