
Hyundai Creta-based Hyundai Alcazar SUV revealed in new design sketches

The Hyundai Alcazar will rival the likes of the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV500, following its launch in India.
Hyundai Motor India today revealed the upcoming 6/7-seater Hyundai Alcazar SUV in new design sketches. Based on the popular Hyundai Creta, the Hyundai Alcazar showcases the 'Sensuous Sportiness' design language of the automaker. On February 24, 2021, Hyundai Motor India had announced that the 6/7-seater SUV will be called Alcazar. There have been several reports claiming that the production-spec Hyundai Alcazar will be unveiled on April 6, 2021. Although Hyundai Motor India has not given us a glimpse of the Alcazar's front, we are expecting it to be inspired by that of the Creta, boasting of features like the automaker's signature cascading grille, and LED headlamps with LED DRLs. However, the Hyundai Alcazar gets a different set of alloy wheels and redesigned LED tail lamps. It also has a longer rear overhang to accommodate the third row of seats.
