In a scary incident from Hawaii, massive waves crashed into a wedding celebration on Saturday. A video of the same that is doing the rounds of the internet showed the gushing water overturning tables and chairs at the Hulihe’s Palace in Kailua-Kona.
Not only the wedding, the waves crashed into homes and over two-story condos in Keauhou-Kona. A clip of the same was captured by Isabella Sloan.
Dillon and Riley Murphy's dream wedding in Kailua-Kona was disrupted after huge waves hit the venue and even overturned the tables and chairs. The video shows the water gushing over the neatly-manicured lawns while the guests gasped and ran to protect themselves.
“We were kind of right at the moment where we were going to start moving a couple things and, yeah, this big wall basically just showed up,” Dillon told KHON2. “And luckily there was no food in any of the containers and the cake luckily also made it," he added.
