Nora Fatehi has claimed she was a ‘victim’ in the case and was not involved in money laundering of any kind.
In the money laundering case against Sukesh Chandrashekhar, actresses Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez have been named and are being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for allegedly receiving luxury gifts from the conman.
These gifts, which include luxury cars, diamonds and bags among other things, were bought by Sukesh Chandrashekhar using the Rs 200 crore he allegedly extorted from a businessman’s wife while he was lodged in Tihar Jail.

The government told the Bombay High Court that the situation remains dynamic due to international developments, and emphasised that it may not be appropriate to deliberate such matters within court proceedings. He assured the bench that the government is taking all necessary remedial measures to ensure that global disruptions do not adversely impact domestic supply of LPG.
