MI-17 helicopter rescues Crystal Company's helicopter after crash near Kedarnath, no casualties reported.
A helicopter being airlifted by an MI-17 helicopter of the defence forces crashed in the hills near Kedarnath on Saturday (August 31, 2024) morning after the towing rope snapped mid-air.
After the Crystal Company’s helicopter met with an accident, it was carried to the Gauchar Airport by the MI-17 helicopter.
The State Disaster Relief Fund (SDRF) personnel came to rescue near the debris of a Crystal Company’s helicopter after it fell down upon losing its balance from an Indian Army’s MI-17 helicopter at Kedarnath in Rudraprayag district.
There are no reports of any casualties so far.
