A Gurgaon techie shared a humorous post of how his mother used AI for an unusual task involving laddoos, which went viral on social media.
A techie from Gurgaon shared a hilarious glimpse into how his mother used ChatGPT for an unexpected task, and the internet can’t stop laughing.
The post, shared on X by Akash, carried the caption: “Meanwhile, my mom is using AI for... ” followed by a screenshot that perfectly delivered the punchline.
The image accompanying the post showed a ChatGPT window open on a smartphone screen. Above the text box was a photograph of several bowls filled with ladoos placed on a floral bedsheet. The prompt read: “Can you count the number of ladoos in this photo?”
Below it, the AI response appeared in neat bullet points, showing detailed calculations and finally delivering the answer as 92 ladoos.
The response even added, “If you’d like, I can recount more conservatively and double-verify section by section.”
What made the post go viral was the relatable ingenuity behind it. Instead of manually counting dozens of sweets one by one, the techie’s mother simply uploaded a picture and let AI do the maths.

This comes as a series of purges under Premier Xi Jinping's anti-corruption campaign have decimated the upper echelons of China's military and scientific community.

The aircraft had also been used by senior Iranian officials and military figures for both domestic and international travel, and for coordinating with allied countries, the Israeli military said. Meanwhile, Dubai International Airport has resumed flight operations after a temporary suspension of about seven hours caused by a drone strike near a fuel tank facility.
