
Grape Festival in Rajendranagar for farmers on March 7

Join the Grape Festival in Rajendranagar on March 7 to explore 59 grape varieties and enhance farming knowledge.
To promote grape cultivation and crop diversification, Grape Festival will be held at the Grape Research Station in Rajendranagar on Saturday (March 7, 2026), as part of the government’s Praja Palana - Pragatiki Pranalika programme. Sri Konda Laxman Telangana Horticulture University’s Vice-Chancellor, Raji Reddy, said that farmers will have an opportunity to learn various characteristics, yield and colour quality of the fruit currently cultivated at the centre. A total of 59 varieties including table varieties, juicy varieties, wine varieties and white seed table varieties will be exhibited. Another festival for public would be held in the coming days.
