Govinda reacts to bhanja Krushna Abhishek's tearful apology, says 'let love be seen off-camera too'

Govinda has now replied to his nephew Krushna Abhishek's tearful apology. Replying to it, Govinda said that Krushna should show this love ‘off-camera’ too.
Krushna Abhishek and his mama Govinda had a public fallout in 2016. Ever since, they have gotten into several public spats with each other. However, last month, Krushna had emotionally said that his statements are twisted by media and that he really misses his uncle. Govinda, in a recent appearance on Maniesh Paul’s podcast, responded to his bhanja's tearful plea for forgiveness. The Bollywood actor said, ‘let this love also be seen off-camera too’. Krushna is Govinda's late sister Padma's son.
Govinda recently appeared on Maniesh Paul’s podcast where he responded Krushna Abhishek's tearful plea for forgiveness that his estranged nephew had made to him on the same platform last month. During the conversation, Govinda said that Krushna lied about him not going to meet his kids at the hospital when they were born. When asked about his relationship with Krushna, Govinda said, “He has assumed and presumed that something wrong is happening in his life due to me," When Maniesh told him that Krushna was really apologetic when he talked about Govinda, he replied, "Then let the love be seen off-camera too. He’s a well brought-up boy, that shows. But he needs to know that he is being used by writers, and that there is a limit to being used.”
Previously, Krushna Abhishek had asked Govinda to forgive him. He had said tearfully on Maniesh’s show, “Chichi mama, main aapse bohot pyaar karta hun, aur aapko bohot miss karta hun. Hamesha miss karta hun aur yaad karta hun, aap kabhi papers aur unn cheezon pe kabhi mat jana. Ki media mein kya aa gaya hai aur kya likha hai. Main ek hi cheez bohot miss karta hun, main chahta hun ki mere jo babies hai, wo mere mama ke sath khele. Wo bohot miss karta hun main. Aur muhje pata hai wo mujhe bohot yaad karte honge, hamesh yaad karte honge (Chichi uncle, I love you a lot, and I miss you a lot. You should not believe everything that appears in the papers and the media. And I miss one thing very badly; I want my kids to play with my uncle, that I miss a lot. And I know he must also miss me).”
In 2018, Govinda's wife Sunita took offence to Krushna's wife Kashmera Shah's tweet about some ‘people who dance for money’. Sunita alleged that Kashmera was referring to Govinda, and the couple decided to cut off ties with the two. Krushna later clarified that it was meant for his sister Arti Singh, but nothing changed Sunita’s opinion. It resulted in a public fallout between the two families.
In 2022, Krushna said that he tried to get in touch with his mama during the lockdown and accused him of not visiting his twins who were not well. Krushna tried calling Govinda but received no response. He also said that it hurts him but he can't do anything if Govinda doesn't want to see him. After Krushna's allegations, Govinda issued a statement where he mentioned that he visited the hospital when the twins were hospitalised and had met the doctor and the nurse attending them. Govinda also mentioned how he has been regulary defamed by Krushna and his wife Kashmera in the media. He said that he would now like to maintain distance from Krushna Abhishek and would want him to do the same.
