Government may ask medical students to join Covid-19 duty, might delay NEET 2021

The government will likely ask the medical students to join the Covid-19 battle. Further, the government may also delay the upcoming NEET 2021 exam amid rising cases.

Amid the Covid-19 crisis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday, reviewed various measures to increase human resources for effective management of the current coronavirus crisis in the country. One of the possible steps discussed was to motivate students and pass-outs of medical and nursing courses to do the pandemic duty. The final details for the same will likely be announced today, according to PTI. Further, the medical personnel doing the Covid-19 duties may be given preference in the government recruitment and financial incentives as well, as per PTI.
