Google has confirmed that pre-orders for the Pixel 10a will open on February 18, with sales going live on Flipkart and Google's official website in India.
Google has officially revealed its next mid-range smartphone, the Pixel 10a, and confirmed that pre-orders will open globally on February 18, 2026. Ahead of the official launch, now the company has announced that the phone will be available on FLipkart. The e-commerce platform has already gone live with a dedicated microsite teasing the device, confirming that the Pixel 10a will be sold through Flipkart alongside Google’s own online store.
The confirmation of Pixel 10a availability follows a short teaser video shared by Google earlier on YouTube. In the video Google also showed the Pixel 10a in a blue colour and invited users to sign up for an “exclusive offer” ahead of pre-orders. Notably, the Pixel 10a is arriving earlier than last year’s Pixel 9a, which launched in March.
As for what to expect, Google has kept most details under wraps so far. However, we already have a first look at the next budget Pixel. Flipkart’s microsite offers the first official glimpse of the Pixel 10a’s design. The phone appears to carry forward the familiar Pixel aesthetic, featuring a flat metal frame and Google’s signature pill-shaped camera module at the back. This time, the camera island seems to sit more flush with the rear panel, giving the device a cleaner and more seamless look. On the front, the Pixel 10a is expected to feature a hole-punch cut-out for the selfie camera, while the power and volume buttons remain on the right edge.
Along with the teaser, industry chatter and leaks are offering a fairly clear picture of what to expect. While Google has officially teased the device in a lavender blue shade, believed to be called Lavender, leaks suggest additional colour options including Obsidian (black), Fog (a light green), and a brighter Berry variant with pink and orange tones. Google has consistently used distinctive colours to set its mid-range Pixel phones apart, and this year looks no different.
On the specifications front, the Pixel 10a is tipped to feature a 6.2-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of around 2,000 nits. If accurate, this would make it one of the more compact Android phones currently expected in the market. The phone is likely to be powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, the same processor used in the Pixel 9a, although reports suggest it could be a slightly “boosted” version to improve performance. This is expected to be paired with a 5,100mAh battery. While the battery capacity appears unchanged, there is speculation that charging speeds could see an upgrade.
Camera hardware on the Pixel 10a is also expected to deliver the familiar Pixel experience. The phone is tipped to feature a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. As with previous Pixel devices, Google is likely to rely heavily on its AI-driven image processing to deliver consistent photo quality rather than chasing higher megapixel numbers.
