Goa government's task force for Covid-19 has given a nod to reopen schools for students of Classes 1 to 8 from November 22. The government will soon make the final call.
On Tuesday, the Goa government's task force on Covid-19 recommended reopening schools for students of Classes 1 to 8 from November 22, with strict Covid-19 SOPs. A meeting of the task force, chaired by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, took stock of the existing coronavirus situation in the state before going ahead with schools reopening.
Goa CM said that though the task force has recommended the reopening of schools for offline classes, the state government will take a final call after considering logistics issues. In-person teaching sessions in schools for students of classes 9 to 12 are already on in the state.
