Female students pursuing PG courses in Haryana will not have to pay tuition fees to their institution if they belong to a low-income household.
The government of Haryana has implemented a new rule to help girl students pursue higher education in the state. The female students coming from low-income families will not have to pay any tuition fees while studying in a PG course. As per the official statement released on Monday, girl students with an annual family income of less than Rs 1.80 lakh and pursuing post-graduation in government colleges and government-aided facilities of Haryana will not be charged a tuition fee. This venture will help the female students of Haryana pursue higher education without any financial constraints when it comes to their families. This rule has been implemented to motivate students from low-income families to pursue education.
