A German traveller’s take on India’s digital payments system is catching attention online, highlighting how seamlessly everyday transactions have gone cashless across the country.
In a video shared on Instagram, Philipp documented his experience of using QR code-based payments in India, describing the system as both simple and efficient. Walking viewers through his day-to-day interactions, he showed how payments can be completed within seconds just by scanning a QR code using a mobile phone.
In the clip, Philipp points out that this ease of payment isn’t limited to big stores or urban centres. Instead, he found the system to be widely available, from temples and local markets to taxis and small vendors. The video captures him making quick, hassle-free payments, underscoring how deeply embedded digital transactions have become in daily life.

What stood out to him most was the convenience. He noted that there is no need to carry cash or even cards, as nearly everything can be handled through a smartphone. In the caption, he summed up his experience with a simple phrase: “Real Digi-India,” emphasising how intuitive and accessible the system feels, even for a visitor.

Pakistan tried to make a strong diplomatic move by leading mediation efforts between the US and Iran to end the war. However, Pakistan's ploy of trying to please all sides seems to have backfired. A rebuff from Iran and a strain in ties with Gulf states like the UAE have come as a double whammy for Pakistan.
