Gauahar Khan banned for 60 days by FWICE for flouting Covid-19 rules

A day after BMC filed an FIR against Gauahar Khan for flouting Covid-19 rules, FWICE has now banned her for two months. They called her act 'highly irresponsible' for resuming shoot even after testing positive.

After Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) filed an FIR against Gauahar Khan for flouting Covid-19 rules on March 15, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has also banned her for two months. BMC claimed that the actress had tested Covid-19 positive and didn’t cooperate with the civic authority and acted in a negligent manner. Issuing a non-cooperative directive against Gauahar Khan now, FWICE said that her act was highly irresponsible and even asked others in the entertainment industry to distance themselves from her for two months. Their statement also threatened disciplinary action against anyone co-operating with Gauahar. A press release issued by the FWICE mentions the stringent action taken by the body against the actress. They called her act ‘highly irresponsible’ and said that she ‘endangered the lives of the entire crew members working with her on the respective shoot.’
